Wood Hall Hotel & Spa launches charity partnership with Martin House Children’s Hospice

Wood Hall Hotel & Spa in Linton, Wetherby, has partnered with Martin House Children’s Hospice in their first official charity partnership. The team are planning a number of initiatives involving staff, health club members and their guests to raise funds and awareness for the work of Martin House.

Martin House is based in Boston Spa and supports families across West, East and North Yorkshire. The team cares for more than 440 children and their families every year, as well as offering care to around 150 bereaved families.

As well as raising funds, Wood Hall Hotel & Spa have pledged to support Martin House through the use of meeting space for events, luxury prizes for auction and also the gift of afternoon teas to families coming to stay at the Hospice who need vital respite support.

General Manger, Chris Monks, says, “Wood Hall Hotel is delighted to be forming a partnership with Martin House Children’s Hospice. Supporting a local charity like Martin House, which sits at the heart of our community and makes such a difference to the lives of so many, is really important to us and myself and the team are thrilled to be involved.”
