We pledge to make a difference by further developing our team and continuing to host fundraising events throughout the year to raise money for our chosen charity partners.

At Garbutt + Elliott, we are passionate about charity support. It is important to us as individuals, as well as in our working lives, that we make practical and financial contributions to support our local community.

Our chosen charities for this year are Leeds Children’s Heart Surgery Fund and York Rescue Boat, both are local charities which are nominated and voted for by staff.

We have an energetic and enthusiastic ‘G+Et Involved’ team (a cross section of staff who volunteer to help coordinate our social and fund-raising activities) who do a fantastic job of generating new ideas of how to fundraise, coordinating the activities and creating a real buzz and some fun around the office with everything that’s going on!

Here are a list of just some of the things we’ve been up to and have planned for the rest of the year:

-Wear Red Day (in recognition of Leeds Children’s Heart Surgery Fund)

-Go Orange bake off (in recognition of York Rescue Boat)

-Sunflower growing competition

-Easter Week – activities everyday to raise money

-Monthly lottery where a proportion of the pot will go to our charities

-Leeds 10K run

-Guided walks

-Virtual quizzes
