Bulls announce Paul Gill as guest of honour
Bradford Bulls are delighted to announce Paul Gill – a familiar name to Leeds Rhinos and Rugby League in Bradford – will be our Guest of Honour on Sunday at Odsal Stadium.
The hugely popular figure in the local Rugby League scene was sadly diagnosed with MND (Motor Neurone Disease) last summer.
A BARLA tourist whilst being a star player for Clayton ARLFC, one of the Bradford Bulls’ Community Clubs, he signed for Leeds and went on to represent the club 47 times in the 1980’s whilst also captaining their ‘A’ team for many years. Paul then went on to coach at Clayton.
As our Guest of Honour, Paul will present the Match Ball to the referee ahead of kick off on Sunday, with Bradford facing Gill’s former team for the Keith Howard Foundation Trophy from 3:00pm.
We are also delighted to welcome Paul’s family and friends, who will be watching on from the Trevor Foster Suite throughout the afternoon. There will also be a Bucket Collection in and around Odsal Stadium to raise money for the MND Association.
