Yorkshire based IT services and solutions company, Claritas Solutions, is celebrating a record six months for the business following a series of new contracts for northern based businesses.
Claritas’s services include IT support, cybersecurity, software development, hosting and connectivity.
The Wetherby based business soared in to 2020 by signing a new contract with The Property Buying Company. Claritas approached the Yorkshire based business as part of its local business support campaign and successfully signed a 12 month contract last month (March). The Property Buying Company was previously using two different suppliers for their IT support and the move to Claritas has consolidated their IT support, saving them time and money.
At the end of 2019, Claritas was also successful in securing eight new accounts, the first being Flat Fee Recruiter. The online recruitment company contacted Claritas following worries that some business changes that were taking place rapidly which meant they wouldn’t have any IT Support. They needed a company that could adapt quickly and be on hand for any queries so appointed Claritas for the job.
They also added Thorite, a company specialising in supplying air compressors, pneumatic and fluid control products, to its IT support portfolio at the end of 2019. Claritas were appointed to provide Server Support and Third-Party Vendor Management. Thorite attended the company’s Hot Topics & Hot Dogs barbecue event in September and the relationship between the two companies developed from there.
Philip Schroeter, IT Manager at Thorite said, “We’ve been talking to Claritas for a while as we were dissatisfied with our previous support company. I’ve been impressed with Claritas’s ‘can-do’ attitude and the determination to put together a package that suits our needs and pockets. An invitation to the barbecue allowed me to tour the premises and meet many of the staff at the Wetherby office. Everyone was so friendly I was sure we could build a good working relationship. Our Account Manager is available whenever we need to chat, and the technical team are on call to provide assistance when needed.
“When you have a very small IT team on site you need to have confidence in your suppliers, and I am confident that the relationship that we are building with Claritas will stand us in good stead for the future.”
In addition, last year, Claritas added four new email security customers to its customer base: Method Investment and Advisory, Talmix, Fasanara Capital Ltd and We’ll Mind Your Own Business.
Rounding off 2019, Claritas also secured a 12 month contract with Ligentia, a freight forwarding & supply chain management company based in Leeds and Pall-Ex, a company that enables thousands of businesses to send freight locally, nationally and across the globe every day. For Ligentia, Claritas was appointed to provide penetration testing for the company as part of its commitment to compliance.
Zoe Duffy, Claritas Sales Manager said, “We are delighted with the new business wins as we are committed to providing robust IT services and solutions for the Yorkshire area and beyond. We have clients all over the UK ranging from SME’s to larger enterprises and Government Departments but we are a Yorkshire based company and as such are keen to provide exceptional and affordable IT solutions for Yorkshire and northern based businesses.”
